Our solutions on the DAMPING sector include shock and impact absorption. This means that collision impacts are absorbed, damping vibration loads.
Optionally, the adhesive bonding of parts is available as an assembly aid or for permanent adhesive bonds.
In electronics, the damping of collision impacts is intended to protect batteries in power tools or in eBikes. There is still scope for damping printed circuit boards inside housings or a defined level of pressure.
The damping or isolation of damping achieves a reduction in impact loads and structure-borne noise from components or structures. At the same time, vibration levels are reduced and a rapid decay is brought about, i.e. the conversion of kinetic energy into another form of energy that is no longer relevant for the vibration system.

The compression pad primarily takes over the task of sealing and damping while at the same time serving as a kind of “foam spring” to make operation of a control device more sensitive. Thin foams (here as an example Poron) with electrically insulating properties are also used in this area as a substitute for insulating foils. They also help to compensate for tolerances that protect components in the smallest of installation spaces.
Motor mounts support motor loads throughout their service lives and are also help to isolate them from vibration, from low to high frequencies. This type of damping is used to protect them from vibration, oscillation, noise and shaking.
