The item shown here comprises several layers of material that perform different functions. Silicone foam is used for damping. Electrical insulation material made of polypropylene is used to insulate against electrical breakdown. The item is also partially laminated – i.e. equipped with a partial adhesive surface – so that it can be glued in a targeted manner during assembly. For easy handling, it also has a grip tab on the cover paper.
This battery pack base is used to secure the battery to the vehicle body.
