Plug connectors are used wherever a connection needs to be established at an interface for power or data transmission. There are many requirements for temperature and media resistance and for seal integrity as well as approval-relevant requirements for the electrical properties of the materials used, up to the high levels of stress experienced by connectors in adverse environments.
We manufacture your component and we use our experience to help you select the right material.
Connector seals are frequently used in industrial plug connections. Their task is to provide an effective seal against the ingress of dust, dirt and humidity to sealed plug-in connectors. A special feature of this seal is the regulation packaging and labelling, compliant with customer specifications.
Plug-in connectors are electromechanical components that connect up conductors to create a circuit. Thousands of plug-in connector configurations are manufactured for electrical, data-related and audiovisual applications where geometry is the key factor for achieving a precision fit between connector and socket. This is assured by national and international standards such as DIN, IEC or MIL. With our gasket, we help you to set standards in relation to building automation. These plug-in connectors are used in products such as awnings and roller blinds.

Industrial plant needs to operate reliably under harsh conditions and in sensitive production environments. To ensure that connected electronic components or entire control cabinet systems are not affected adversely by difficult conditions – for example by moisture and dirt – cables, wiring and media hoses need to be routed safely in components fitted with effective seals.
Thanks to the high-quality elastomers used by SCHLÖSSER, cable grommets or screw connections provide reliable seals inside housings.
With waterjet cutting and laser cutting, our tool-free manufacturing processes, we can offer to manufacture parts from one piece, e.g. during the development and project phase or for prototyping.
With the help of our sample service, we can provide your design department with prototypes cut by water jet within just a few days. Together with you, we select a suitable material for your application from our wide range of materials.
SCHLÖSSER can supply a diverse range of materials from its own portfolio but it can also procure anything else that customers might wish to use. When doing so, we ensure that we use materials with an established track record for a given application, ones that meet quality and availability criteria. We are well positioned to do this through our capable network of partners.
The world of Technical Parts is endlessly multi-faceted – and we here at SCHLÖSSER have played an important part in it for many years. As an experienced manufacturer of a vast array of different seals, we know what we are about across a huge range of different sectors, and with an incredibly diverse spectrum of industrial requirements. Developing and producing bespoke parts for customers is what we do every day to earn a living.
Ideal for producing small quantities or prototypes rapidly and cost-effectively. This broad range of options underscores the high level of flexibility that laser cutting is able to offer.
Efficient processes – the stroke and rotary method of blade cutting as well as shear cutting method – at various levels of automation: quick, precise and cost-effective for short, medium and long production runs.
As with laser cutting, no dedicated tool is required. Geometric modifications can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively, ideal for the manufacture of short production runs (e.g. samples, mini-series).
