History

More than 100 years ago, when Carl Schlösser founded the company, submitting his first patents for gas fittings, he was already manufacturing his own seals for those fittings. Even back then, Schlösser was constantly striving to find the ideal solution. An aspiration that runs throughout the history of the company like a golden thread. Today, there is scarcely a single sector in which Schlösser is not represented with a range of highly specialist products. That expertise has a solid foundation. It is the outcome of many years of experience, continuous innovation, strict customer focus and stringent quality management. And it is the consequence of a conviction never to rest on past achievements but instead always to view new customer requirements as a challenge and an opportunity.

125 years of SCHLÖSSER

In 2022, SCHLÖSSER celebrated its 125th anniversary in Mengen and is still continuing to expand. A fourth section of building is under construction. The storage area has been enlarged substantially and a new incoming goods area is being built. This will greatly improve logistical operations, creating approximately 3,800 m² of additional surface area.

Building section 3

In July 2018, Schlösser opened this 8,250 m² expansion to Plant II. This expansion in production surface area, with particular attention being paid to the increasingly stringent requirements of customers in relation to the technical cleanliness of products, and through the enlargement of the materials storage area, Schlösser is now well prepared to meet the challenges of the future.
